Our Falling Film Evaporator system allows for indirect heating of feed through Shell and Tube operation designs. By passing the feed in a laminar flow, allowing moderate viscosity based feed elements to be treated as well, the FFE apparatus raises the temperature, relying on gravity assisted flow of materials. At SSP, we calibrate the design of the system for maximum steam efficiency allowing for system set-up without need for condenser in multi-effect systems. FFE systems are available with both TVR and MVR for efficient steam consumption and minimal denaturing of products.
